Plant a Tree
Lavida is situated on a property hosting a wide variety of trees and management wishes to promote conservation by offering all our guests the opportunity to plant a tree, provided it is an indigenous species and adaptable to the local area.
For a small cash consideration a tree of choice can be purchased together with a name card, with personal data of the guest and date of planting, to be affixed to the tree area.
Every year, on the anniversary date of the tree planted by the guest, a photo of the tree’s growth and progress will be emailed to the guest. The guest will also be allowed to visit the tree at any future date.
This will be a humble contribution to the battle against carbon gases, by city dwellers and the like, to fight the deterioration of the ozone layer.
The Oak tree planted by the Italian POW’s can be seen as a landmark on the property and a testimony to how your tree may look some 70 years into the future.
